Keri M. Guilbault, Ed.D. is an assistant professor of Gifted Education at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Guilbault has worked as a district supervisor of gifted and talented programs and as a teacher of the gifted in both Florida and Maryland. She graduated from the University of South Florida with her master’s degree in Gifted Education and obtained her Ed.S. and doctorate degree in Educational Leadership with specialization in gifted education program administration from the University of Central Florida. Dr. Guilbault is the Parent Representative on the National Association for Gifted Children Board of Directors. She previously served NAGC as Chair-Elect of the Parent and Community Network and as Chair of the Parent Advisory Committee. Dr. Guilbault has also served NAGC state affiliates in Florida and Maryland as President, President-Elect, Conference Chair, and as a parent liaison. In 2005, she received the NAGC Non-Doctoral Student Award for her advocacy, service, and scholarship. Dr. Guilbault has presented at numerous local, state, and national conferences and specializes in the needs of highly gifted learners, acceleration, and bullying. She is also the parent of a highly gifted teenager.
